Bill would create new recreational marijuana licenses to allow greater minority participation in Illinois

In the past year, the state received numerous requests for recreational marijuana licenses. 937 companies submitted 4,518 applications, with 40,000 exhibits to be assessed. The licenses should be issued more than a year ago, on May 1st. New licenses for craftsmen, infusors and transport companies have also been delayed.
