2 min readPIERRE – Two subcommittees of the Marijuana Interim Study Committee will hold their first meetings on Jan.
The Medical Marijuana Studies Subcommittee will meet on Monday, June 21 at 10 a.m. (CT).
The group will review I AM 26th Revisions of the south Dakota Communal league and south Dakota Association of Health organizations, learn about telemedicine and health issues in Colorado, receive a presentation from the North Dakota Department of Health, and gain Tribal perspective of Representative of several south Dakota Tribes.
The The subcommittee is chaired by Sen. Bryan Breitling. Members include Reps. Fred Deutsch, Linda Duba, Caleb Finck, Ernie Otten, Carl Perry, Taylor Rehfeldt and Marli Wiese and Sent. Troy Heinert, VJ Smith and Jim Stalzer. The agenda is available online.
The subcommittee on adult marijuana investigation will meet on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. (CT). The group will receive information on Home Rule and Dillon Rule, law enforcement, and law enforcement from the South Dakota Municipal League legal perspective of various Representative, and Listen a presentation on marijuana in the the Workplace.
The Subcommittee is Chair by representative Hugh Bartels.
