UPDATE: MONROE, La. (KTVE / KARD) – Monroe police have confirmed they are investigating a drowning that occurred on Sunday, June 6, 2021. Police say they were called to the Marbles Community Center on Renwick Street around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday.

The officers said when they arrived at the scene, they found an unresponsive man in the pool. According to police, the man was identified as Quinton Carter, 37, from Monroe and pronounced dead at the scene.
