PEVELY – More medical marijuana is coming to Jefferson County soon.
North Medical Group, LLC will open its first pharmacy on Saturday May 29th on 1709 Highway Z in Pevely.
The grand opening begins at 10 a.m. and includes a ribbon cut and limited giveaways, according to a company press release.
A doctor will also be on hand with information for anyone in need of a medical marijuana card.
The regular opening times are seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The new store plans to offer delivery and transit services in the future.
The pharmacy is one of six pharmacies licensed in Jefferson County under a state system that limits the total number of medical cannabis stores to 192 across the state.
At least two other pharmacies have already opened – one in Imperial and one in Festus. The North Medical Group plans to open another one in Hillsboro next month.
