Tennessee lawmaker introduces bill to add legalization of marijuana on next year’s ballot
1 min readMEMPHIS, Tennessee (WMC) – A Tennessee state legislature is introducing bill to make recreational and medical marijuana eligible for election next year.
If the bill is passed, the county’s electoral commissions would include three non-binding questions related to marijuana legalization on the 2022 ballot.
- Should the State of Tennessee Legalize Medical Marijuana?
- Should the State of Tennessee decriminalize the possession of less than an ounce of marijuana?
- Should the State of Tennessee Legal and Regulate the Commercial Sales of Recreational Marijuana?
The three questions would work similarly to a public opinion poll.
