The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office issued (7) seven search warrants on (7) seven separate lots. The search warrants covered the commercial cultivation of marijuana in over 40 separate large greenhouse structures on the properties. The search warrants were issued on properties on Hogtrap Road and South Face Road in Island Mountain. The search warrants were served from Monday, June 22, 2015 to Thursday, June 25, 2015. MPs are working with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Services in their investigation to identify the owners and suspects involved in the environmental damage on the properties. The Sheriff’s Office will submit its reports to the Humboldt District Attorney for review and possible criminal charges against the suspects involved in this commercial marijuana cultivation.
