NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WATE) – The newest medical marijuana bill in Tennessee continues to be passed by the General Assembly.
On Wednesday, the Senate’s Health and Welfare Committee re-added the bill for next week to its calendar.
The invoice is sponsored by Senator Becky Duncan Massey.
If passed, it would ask the Tennessee Department of Health to conduct a study of medical marijuana licensing and regulations in neighboring states and report those results to the General Assembly health committees by December 15.
